Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell Isolated Mode Download

On
Studio

Hi Everyone, I have downloaded the trail version of 'Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell (isolated mode) Redistributable Package', and the 'Visual Studio 2008 SDK' packages, and then installed them into my computer. Then, I have downloaded the 'Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for IA-32 and Intel 64 (for customers who have Microsoft Visual Studio. already installed) (File wcprofp11.1.051novsshell.exe) ' and installed into my computer. When I opened my intel visual fortran file, and trying tobuild it, I am getting an error message as 'rc.exe was not found'. Could you plese tell me, how to resolve this problem? I am working on a 64 bit computer with windows os. Hello, I am not sure that this is the right place to air my problem but here goes.

I am trying to build a project with my evaluation license copy of Visual Fortran Compiler Professional for Windows 11.1.060. I have previously successfully built and run this project using my non-commercial license Intel Fortran compiler for Linux. Prior to installing the Windows compiler I installed a evaluation copy of MS Visual Studio 2008. Unfortunately this installation did not go smoothly because of a disk space problem. I had to custom reinstall/repair VS 2008 to install into a non-default directory ( E: visual studio) before installing the compiler on E: intel.

Forum 86 buet school. Le Buet is a beautiful hamlet over the Col de Montet from Chamonix and it is what true francophiles would appreciate. The restaurant and bar area is the nearest you will get to a proper country French bar/restaurant in this, generally overly touristy area so close to Chamonix.

Subsequently the Build process successfully compiled all my source files but then produced an error message 'rc.exe not found' and failed to link. I see that this problem has been previously reported, albeit under slightly different circumstances with earlier releases of the compiler. I have had no success trying any of the suggested workarounds I have seen proposed. I would be very grateful for any suggestions as to how I might get my evaluation underway. KJC, I think the problem you're having is due to the incomplete install of Visual Studio. The issue reported in this thread is only when the bundled Visual Studio Premier Partner Edition or Shell was installed, not a separate VS install.

In Visual Studio, select Tools Options Intel Visual Fortran Compilers. Click on the button for Executables. It should look like this (with a critical line highlighted): $(IFortInstallDir)bin ia32 $(CommonProgramFiles) Intel Shared Files Ia32 Bin $(VSInstallDir)Common7 IDE $(VCInstallDir)BIN $(VSInstallDir)Common7 Tools $(VSInstallDir)Common7 Tools bin $(FrameworkDir)$(FrameworkVersion) $(WindowsSdkDir)bin $(PATH) If it does not, click Reset All on the Options dialog to reset this. If that does appear, make sure that rc.exe is present in C: Program Files Microsoft SDKs Windows v6.0A bin - this is where VS puts it.
